Welcome!
The 2020-2021 school year is going to be different than any other year we've experienced. Students, staff, and their families will all be working together to keep everyone safe and ready to learn. During this time of change and uncertainty, it's important to be proactive about students' mental, emotional, and social health.
My name is Kasha Christopherson. I am the new school counselor at Orchard & Cascade Elementary Schools. Throughout the school year, I will be providing social and emotional learning-centered lessons in each elementary classroom. I will also be running small group sessions, and individual counseling sessions with students in response to their specific needs. El año escolar 2020-2021 será distinto de cualquier otro año que hemos experimentado. Los estudiantes, personal escolar, y sus familias trabajarán juntos para asegurar que todos puedan estar seguros y listos para aprender. Durante esta epoca de cambios e incertidumbre, es importante que seamos proactivos en cuanto a la salud mental, emocional, y social de los estudiantes.
Mi nombre es Kasha Christopherson. Soy la nueva consejera escolar en las escuelas primarias Orchard y Cascade.
